Debuts First-Ever Pop-Up Shop at Reusable Finds

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA – (February 15, 2017) – Reusable Finds is hosting its first retail Pop - Up Shop event on Saturday March 4, 2017, from 10am to 3pm at 5320 Custer Street, San Diego, CA 92110. Reusable Finds is excited to have partnered with Valerie Vintage Designs to bring the community the first Vintage Jewelry Pop - up Shop event of 2017.

Valerie Vintage Designs are one of kind upcycle jewelry. All uniquely designed with orphaned earrings, chains, crystals, pearls, metals, brooches and trinkets. Necklaces, bracelets, rings, and brooches get new life once they're upcycled into something new.

Virginia Mergener, CEO and Founder, said: “We are excited to collaborate with Valerie Vintage Designs on our first pop-up stop. The unique and upcycled jewelry fits perfectly with our mission of sustainable and stylish repurpose products.”

The 2017 Pop - up Shop program allows business owners and potential start-ups the opportunity to test retail space for free for first show in the Reusable Finds Warehouse outdoor and indoor shopping space. This savings allows businesses to get a head start on their business so that they can allocate their resources on other necessities needed to begin operations. Reusable Finds goal is to bring Pop - up shops to South Bay Park Shopping / Industrial District to help entrepreneurs elevate their business.

Virginia added: “Along the Morena Corridor, south west side of Morena Boulevard where we are located, there are quite of a few great businesses many don’t know about. Many of which are service businesses. With the help of MBA (Morena Business Association), we are seeing an increase in the amount of traffic and interest from the community and surrounding area to bring in more unique retail small businesses to the area. We are excited to see this area becoming more of a destination area to eat, shop, and play.”

Reusable Finds Retail is Moving to a Larger Facility

San Diego, CA 92110 – September 1, 2014 - Our Reusable Finds Retail Store is moving 1 ½ mile Southwest of our current location, but still in the same 92110 Neighborhood.

The new address is at 5320 Custer St. San Diego, CA 92110. The new warehouse is about 4000 sq ft larger than our current 500 sq ft store.

With an open design and natural lighting the new space will make shopping a more relaxing shopping experience for the entire family.

We will now have the flexibility to accommodate more people as well as offer more of our Finds.

“We needed to grow and have more space to do all the repurposing of things we wanted to do but just did not have the space", said Reusable Finds Founder Virginia Mergener.

In addition to the retail space, there is also an open space for the new garden, garden art, outdoor furniture and planting vessels.

Future plans for the new space will include opportunities for hosting charity events to raise/donate money for local non-profits/charities. We will also host flea market Saturdays, live auctions and other community events. The new space will allow more room for educational classes, gardening, and re-purpose work areas.

“We never want to leave. We love the energy in here and the way it feels. Everything we ever wanted in our old space, it’s all here.” said Virginia

Stay tuned at Reusablefinds.com for grand opening news.
