Vintage Resale Store Participates in the 20th Annual Clairemont Garden Tour
Industrial location has brought a bit of life into the area
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA – (April 22, 2016) – Reusable Finds resale shop will be participating in the 20th Annual Clairemont Garden Tour on Saturday, May 07, 2016 from, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. The CTC’s Garden Tour showcases beautiful private gardens throughout the Clairemont Community.
The Reusable Finds inspiration garden is an eclectic collection of succulents, organic vegetables and herbs. Set in the industrial district of South Bay Park. The Reusable Finds Garden is accented and decorated with repurposed items and vintage yard art. The main purpose for their garden is to attract wildlife. Host plants such as milkweed, and passion vines have already had visiting Monarch and Gulf Fritility butterflies. The Anna and Allen Hummingbirds have been spotted feasting on blooms. The fountains, bathtub pond, dragonfly bath, and seating vignettes add to the tranquility you will discover. You’ll also find the Reusable Finds retail store filled with household and garden items for sale.

Grand Re-Opening Ribbon Cutting Celebration in a New Larger Warehouse
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA – (October 30, 2014) – Reusable Finds will host a Grand Re-opening
Ribbon Cutting Celebration on Saturday, November 8, 2014 from, 11am – 5pm. The Director of
Sales of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, Robert Hacken, will be master of
Ceremonies. The new storefront warehouse is located at 5320 Custer Street, San Diego, CA
92110. Guest will enjoy discounts, refreshments, and live entertainment.
The Reusable Finds 5000 sq ft resale store and workshop warehouse is where we showcase our
finds and select purchases, and it is also where we Recycle, Re-purpose and Reuse items that
deserve a second at product usefulness.
The new space will also feature the new paint line of HGTV Star, Cari Cucskey. The
Chroma•Color™ is a water based Paint & Primer in one. It is Green Safe with low VOC's and
creates a soft, smooth finish. The easy-to-use paint line includes 15 colors.
“For those customers who want a DIY project of their own, they will be able to purchase a
piece of furniture and a can of paint at the same time!” said Virginia Mergener, Founder/Owner

Reusable Finds Retail is Moving to a Larger Facility
San Diego, CA 92110 – September 1, 2014 - Our Reusable Finds Retail Store is moving 1 ½ mile Southwest of our current location, but still in the same 92110 Neighborhood.
The new address is at 5320 Custer St. San Diego, CA 92110. The new warehouse is about 4000 sq ft larger than our current 500 sq ft store.
With an open design and natural lighting the new space will make shopping a more relaxing shopping experience for the entire family.
We will now have the flexibility to accommodate more people as well as offer more of our Finds.
“We needed to grow and have more space to do all the repurposing of things we wanted to do but just did not have the space", said Reusable Finds Founder Virginia Mergener.
In addition to the retail space, there is also an open space for the new garden, garden art, outdoor furniture and planting vessels.
Future plans for the new space will include opportunities for hosting charity events to raise/donate money for local non-profits/charities. We will also host flea market Saturdays, live auctions and other community events. The new space will allow more room for educational classes, gardening, and re-purpose work areas.

Reusable Finds Celebrates Grand Opening in Bay Park, San Diego

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA – (November 15, 2012) – Reusable Finds will host a grand opening of their new storefront, on Friday, November 30, 2012 from 3 – 7pm, located at 4112 Napier Street, in the heart of Bay Park, San Diego. The event will unveil the new store of reusable items to the public. Shoppers will enjoy an expanded selection of discounts and refreshments and door prizes.
The quaint storefront features an inviting space that features many home furnishings that have been rescued and gift items made from local artisans. A book designated for their customers wish list sits at entrance to remind customers that if what they are looking for is not in the store, that they will gladly help them find it.
“By being resourceful and creative recyclers we are able to offer our customers reclaimed goods and at the same time keep more unwanted items out of our landfills. We are committed to diverting usable materials from landfills by salvaging, and re-furbishing them. Why buy new items, if you can find functional reusable items and give them new life?” said Virginia Mergener, Founder/Owner of Reusable Finds.
